Solvine CTP

Product to clean offset plates processors, using CTP Thermal, CTP Photopolymer VIOLET and CTcP - UV conventional plates.

SOLVINE CTP is an alkaline concentrated product, used to remove diazoic or polymeric layer in tanks containing developer, on rollers and on pipes of automatic Plates Processors.

WORKING INSTRUCTIONS

  • ORDINARY MAINTENANCE (EACH TIME YOU CHANGE DEVELOPER)
  • Remove the exhausted developer from plates processor tank.
  • Replace developer filters, in case they are made in polypropylene. Rinse them if they are steel ones. This operation is of use to preserve the cooling group and pipes from floating encrustations.
  • Fill the tank with SOLVINE CTP, diluted 1+2 with water.
  • Use warm water at 40°C for better results
  • Re-circulate it for about 1 hour.
  • Discharge the product.
  • Remove filters, either polypropylene or steel ones.
  • Fill again with water.
  • Activate the circulation for about half an hour.
  • Discharge.
  • Replace filters (if in polypropylene, with new ones, if steel filters, with washed ones) and charge with developer.

EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE

(ONCE OR TWICE A YEAR , ACCORDING TO TREATED PLATES QUANTITIES)

Use SOLVINE CTP pure for about 3 hours , following the above modalities

FOR CLEANING ROLLERS, NOT DIPPED IN THE TANK :

  • Equip yourself with a PVC tank that can contain them
  • Dip them for one night in a solution of SOLVINE CTP
  • Clean with a cloth or slightly abrasive sponge.
  • Rinse with plenty of water

To remove coating residues, left by plates, use SLP ROLLER CLEAN (see Technical Data Sheet)
